I have arrived!

I have been in town for about an hour now, and have met my host family as well as Brian´s. My family is very friendly, and speaks very good English. Although I have been told that after the first week or so they won´t do that anymore.

Not much else to say, really. Buenos noches.

Glad you made it safely. What's the internet situation like? When do your classes start anyway? And how much can we sell the stuff from your room for? :)

have a mucho bueno tiempo - or epoca, whatever.
if you get homesick for familiar stuff - just try to feel it deeply - don't try and avoid it or deny it -- me thinks it gets worse if you do. go with it. let yourself ache
(when i tried not to think of dr. pepper - i kept thinking about it, and longing for it -- but, when i let myself remember fully the taste and feel of a cold one in my mouth and going down my throat - well, somehow i got through that homesickness -- and was better for it)
now do you want an icey cold one?
hmm, i think i'll go get one
(I'll try not to torture you again)
adios
