Kyle Lake, pastor of UBC here in Waco (my church) passed away today after an accident involving an electrical shock during a baptism.
I don't know what I should be doing right now.

peace, grace and prayers to you and the community at ubc. I am a pastor at a university church in clemson, sc and an acquaintance/friend of Kyle's. We are with you.
Nell and I feel for you guys. I'd just explained to her baptism the Baptist way this week (she's Catholic). I don't know what the appropriate reaction would be either. Praying for you.
Right now you should be praying for Kyle's wife Jen, and his family...and for your church. Then you should go to the gathering at 8pm at First Baptist with the rest of your church to start some healing. And if need be, you should talk to another minister to work some things out, and get some good counseling. I'm praying for you and everyone at UBC.

My husband and I went to UBC all four years at Baylor. We love Kyle and the church. We are praying for all of you and our hearts are aching.
